From June 20 to 25, the ninth edition of the Young European Cinema Meetings Festival is taking place in Sofia - an event dedicated to the film education of the young audience aged 3 to 19 years.
This year's film selection of the festival will also present several programs of short films for the youngest viewers (from 3 to 7 years old): the themed "Stop and Spin", "The World in a Frame", part of the catalog of the European project Cinemini Europe, as well and a program of Czech animation.
All screenings are accompanied by short workshops in which the youngest viewers draw, dance and share emotions from what they saw on the big screen. Students, their teachers and parents will have completely free access to the entire program, which will take place in the Slaveykov Hall of the French Institute, in the hall and cinema yard of the Goethe-Institut, in the hall of the Czech Center.
