OPERA IN THE PARK

On June 25, with the opera DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – version adapted for children, Sofia Opera will open the XIII Opera in the Park Summer festival. The festival will take place in the natural environment in the park of the G S Rakovski Defence Academy, located in Sofia at 82 Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi Blvd.

The audience will be able to choose performances from the repertoire of Sofia Opera. Especially important for the organizers of the festival is the acquaintance of the children’s audience with bright opera examples. This year the program in the park of the G S Rakovski Defence Academy is entirely directed to the children.

The XIII Opera in the Park Summer festival is part of the Cultural calendar of Sofia Municipality for 2022 and is under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova.
