Bankya’s Iconic Baths will be turned into a SPA Center

By the end of 2020, the iconic Baths in Bankya will be renovated and turned into a modern SPA center. Everyone will be able to experience the famous healing power of Bankya’s mineral waters. At this stage, what the mode of management of the mineral baths will be is yet to be decided - setting up a municipal enterprise, setting up a municipal company, for rent or concession for construction and management. However, the baths will definitely be one of the biggest temptations for Sofia’s guests and residents.

The aqua park in Vazrajdane Park, which also uses mineral water, will be one of its main competitors. It has already been completed and the indoor pool is expected to start operating soon.
