Summer Program of Sofia Opera and Ballet

An exciting summer with a rich and varied program is promised by the Sofia Opera and Ballet for art connoisseurs this season. The new event this year is a big Wagner Festival (08-30.07), and the occasion is the 210th anniversary of the birth of the great German composer.

For the 14th year, the Opera in the Park Festival will be held in the park of the G.S. Rakovski Military Academy. It starts on June 24 with the Concert for Babies and will continue until the end of July. New in the repertoire is the performance The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids.

June 25 is the premiere of The World of Dreams - the first Bulgarian electro-acoustic, fantastic, interactive opera for adults and children.

For the fourth year in a row, the summer festival Muses OnThe Water will take place on the stage of the Pancharevo Lake (14.07 - 27.08. 2023).

And this year Opera on the Peaks (04 - 13.08. 2023) for the 8th time in a row will soar above the Belogradchik rocks with the wings of opera and ballet art.
