The Sofia Festival of Music Theater has started

From June 24 to July 17 in the park of the Military Academy G.S. Rakovski will be held the second edition of the Sofia Festival of Music Theater, which is carried out with the support of Sofia Municipality - Calendar of Cultural Events.

The opening was on June 24 at 8 pm with a concert performance of the musical "The Phantom of the Opera" by the artists of the Music Theater.

On June 25, the Music and Drama Theater K. Kisimov - Veliko Tarnovo, who will present for the first time in a stage version the musical of the composer Decho Taralezhkov The Enemy ”based on the play of the same name by St. L. Kostov.

On June 26 is the concert-performance "An Evening with the Broadway Hits" with the best of the world's musical and popular music performed by the stars of the Musical Theater.

Theaters from Bulgaria and abroad will take part in the festival with musical and ballet performances, including the Konstantin Kisimov Music and Drama Theater - Veliko Tarnovo, the State Opera - Ruse, the State Opera - Plovdiv, the Theater, Music and Production Center - Varna and others. This year the festival has international participation. The National Theater of Nis (Serbia) will perform on the stage of the Music Theater on July 1st with the musical "Some Prefer It Hot". On July 8 on the festival stage in the park of the Military Academy G. S. Rakovski we will watch the ballet performance“ The Ladies of Avignon ”of the National Opera and Ballet of Northern Macedonia.
