OPEN DAY AND FESTIVE MOOD FOR MAY 6 AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY

With a special festive program the National Museum of Military History (NMMM) will welcome its visitors on the Day of Bravery and Bulgarian Army Day - May 6. Traditionally, the NMMM announces free admission from 10.00 to 17.00 for its permanent chronological and external exposition.

Guests of the museum will have the opportunity to see the exhibition "The Order, which has become the measure of Bulgarian bravery", prepared especially for the celebration. It is dedicated to the first award created in the post-liberation history of Bulgaria - the Order of Bravery. The exhibition will feature weapons and items from military life in which the Order is embedded. Among them are the sword of Tsar Boris III, the peak of the Flag of Samara, cigarette boxes, flags etc.

The attractions of a military nature will continue at 12 o'clock with tasting of the iconic bean soup. This year it will again be prepared by a military chef. For the festive mood of all visitors from 14.30 to 15.30 will play the Representative Brass Band of the Land Forces.
