An exhibition at the Largo of Sofia shows the unfamiliar world of people with hearing impairments

REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM-SOFIA and Rotaract Club Sofia present the exhibition "Hear Me with a Gesture". The exposition is realized with the support of the students and the team of the Special School for students with hearing impairment "Prof. Dr. Decho Denev” and can be viewed in the domed space of Independence Square until March 31, 2022.

The exhibition includes photos and posters showing the most common gesture combinations in communicating with people with hearing impairments. The aim of the initiative is to introduce hearing people to a completely new and colorful world and to show the richness and diversity of communication. In April, the exhibition will tour 36 cities in Bulgaria. After that, it will return to the capital and will be arranged as a permanent exhibition in the building of the school for children with hearing impairments in Sofia.
