The Botanical Garden of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Sofia, Ring Road № 22) presents the exhibition Pyrenean Family - Azaleas. On frosty winter days, Sofia residents can brighten up by visiting the beautiful exhibition. Currently, more than 40 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas bloom in the Botanical Garden of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, some of which were once used to decorate the Royal Palace. The botanists from BAS will provide information about the "relatives" of azaleas - blueberries, Pyrenees (evergreen plant Erica), Calluna vulgaris, Pieris rapae, etc., as well as tips for their successful cultivation. The exhibition can be seen from January 28 to February 5 - from 10 am to 4 pm.
