Sofia MENAR Film Festival

The 14 th edition of Sofia MENAR Film Festival will start on January 14 in the saloons of Dom na Kinoto (Cinema House), G8 Cultural Center, Euro Cinema, and online at Neterra TV+.

Until January 30 viewers will be able to watch over 40 premiers of movies, documentaries and short films from the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa.

Among the titles of the program of the festival are: Between Heaven and Earth, Palestine; When Pomegranates Howl, Australia, Iran and Afghanistan; Halal Love Story, India; Egypt from Above, France.

The program of Sofia MENAR Film Festival portrays the best of movies, documentaries and short films from the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa and traditionally includes specially selected thematic events connected to the countries of the region and their ethnic group customs. The festival is founded in 2009 and is organized by Pozor.
