This is the name of a series of 25 short films that will be broadcast every week in the period April 16 - October 1, 2021. The project is implemented by Sofia History Museum in partnership with the National Gallery. 25 Bulgarian artists take part in it telling personal stories related to a memory, experience, or their own interpretation of a work from the gallery's collection, which they have chosen - a landscape, a portrait or a work representing urban life.
Every week until the beginning of October you will have the opportunity to meet a different narrator and a work from the collection of the National Art Gallery, which has excited them.
The first four episodes have already been uploaded on the National Gallery's YouTube channel and have subtitles for people with hearing impairments. The conductor Maxim Eshkenazi, the TV host Maria Silvester, the journalist Dimitar Stoyanovich, and the writer Georgi Gospodinov share their memories and personal stories in them.
The project is implemented with the support of Sofia Municipality, Sofia Culture Program 2021 and in partnership with the sites ploshtadslaveikov.com and actualno.com
