Sofia is the best business city in Bulgaria for 2018

In the national ranking of Darik Radio, Sofia was chosen as the best city for business in Bulgaria in 2018. This is the fifth prestigious award for the Bulgarian capital as the best place for business. Sofia’s objective is to attract investments – it is the European city with the highest growth of GDP per capita for the past 10 years. Sofia attracts more than half of the foreign investment in Bulgaria. The GDP of the capital accounts for 40% of the total GDP of Bulgaria. In recent years, investments have been focused on high-tech industries, industries and activities with high added value and this has contributed to the development of the city. Sofia's achievements confirm its success in this direction.
