New Sports Halls are being Constructed in Several School Yards in Sofia

As a permanent holder of the title "European Capital of Sports", Sofia invests in sports facilities and promotes mass sports activities among the younger generation. In 2019 the construction of the first two multifunctional school sports halls will be initiated - in Lyulin 7 and in Pavlovo, at the initiative of the Mayor of Sofia Municipality. The aim is to build mass sports facilities in highly-populated areas and in schools with a significant number of pupils. The project is funded by Sofia Municipality.
