The Interactive Children's Center TechnoMagicLand opened its doors in Sofia a month ago. Thus, the capital now has two magnificent places that can introduce children to the world of science. Muzeiko is the first one – it is the largest scientific center in Eastern Europe for family and school visits and has been welcoming visitors since 2015. The new TechnoMagicLand center offers 130 interactive games, as well as science and art workshops. Unlike traditional museums, it relies on the two most up-to-date approaches in contemporary education - learning through practice and learning through entertainment. TechnoMagicLand consists of a main hall equipped with interactive and cognitive items, a demonstration area and laboratories/halls for workshops and events in the field of science and technology. The building covers an area of over 1300 sq. m. and there are around 40 interactive and cognitive experiments in the fields of natural sciences, mathematics and information technologies – the so-called STEM fields which prepare our children for the professions of the future. Even though it is suitable for adults, TechnoMagicLand is a children's area – there they will be able to unravel the mysteries of physics, mathematics, chemistry, computers and artificial intelligence, will acquire new knowledge and see how science actually works.
