Description

A one-of-a-kind underground museum lies beneath St Sophia Basilica, which exhibits burial works from the Eastern necropolis of the ancient city of Serdica and remains of three earlier churches. The archeological level of “St. Sophia” is a branch of The Regional History Museum Sofia.
