The lakes can be reached by public transport as well – buses 67 and 98 go to Simeonovo district. From there you walk on a beaten path and you can reach the lakes for just about 30 minutes at a medium pace.

The lakes of Simeonovo are located in Vitosha Mountain. They are a symbol of Simeonovo district. They are artificial, but are located in the wilderness of Vitosha mountain and are a great place for picnic. Places for building a fire are also provided if you want to prepare food.
