Description
The Party House (at present housing offices of the National Assembly) was designed by a team headed by architect Petso Zlatev. It was built from 1948 to 1954. The red Star, placed following the Soviet Model, is now removed and displayed at the Museum of Socialist Art. It is replaced by the national flag. The building, once the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party, now houses the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.
