Description

Sofia Synagogue. It is the third biggest synagogue in Europe. The construction was accomplished in 1909 after the design of Friederich Grunanger, the royal court architect. The building is a masterpiece of architecture and a brilliant synthesis of Moresque and Byzantine style. The gorgeous interior is the work of Haralambi Tachev.
